We bought a magna-doodle/book from a local church's garage sale. What a great $2 investment! Since our 21-mo (J) now loves to identify animals, trucks, sun, moon, banana, etc., he loves to see them drawn on the sketch pad. He loves to draw with daddy. After each correct identification of a drawing, J immediately says "bye bye" to it, which means "draw another one!"

I love the drawing below. I don't know if it's a self-portrait of daddy or a portrait of J. Either way, it's pretty cute!

Wow! That is a great investment! I love the pictures too. J and your husband have the same expression on in both pictures. So cute!
ReplyDeleteDoodle boards are a huge hit in this house too. In fact, we've taken them to China when adopting our children. You can never have too many. lol.

DeleteI love that J gets "bye bye" ... Gavin says the same thing anytime I've given him the last of a banana, because he knows the peel is going in the trash!
