First off, I'm learning so much about exposure modes and shooting techniques from being outside and shooting (see this coming Wed's post!), but also re-evaluating the ways I shoot from talented and experienced photographers. I'll have to share those tips in separate posts. Some tips turn my current shooting techniques on their head. Just goes to show that there's NO one way to shoot!

This was taken 2 weeks ago. Currently he's sick at home with an ear infection :(.
Here's our son under the shade of some trees. I love the soft light, glow on top of our son's head, and the bokeh...oh, the bokeh. I love that at this age he's so fascinated with the simplest things -- even a leaf.
Photo note: Our son's right arm is out of focus because I was using a low f-stop. I'm using ISO 400 because we're in the shade. And lastly, I added warmth to the photo by increasing the "temperature" in Lightroom 4.1.
